Wywiad dla lodnyńskiej gazety Metro:

She may have an American boyfriend but Natasha Bedingfield reveals she will always be a Brit at heart.

I'm a London girl. I'm from New Zealand, too, but I'm a London girl, and I will never desert home, she told us on the red carpet at the Linked against Leukemia Gala in New York.

That's where I live, and that's where my heart is. My home is in London. I'm just touring out here. I love it out here, though. It's a lot of fun.

The 26-year-old added that she still loves her hometown.

On my last visit to London, I was so impressed by the fashion and the way the music scene is. I love how Londoners walk around with such a personal style: So functional, quirky, and individual.

I love the fact The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, MIA, and Lily Allen made it cool to rap and sing in your own accent. I think that's a big reason why the USA is so into our music at the moment, because we're being ourselves.

Natasha apologizes to her fans back home for cancelling her UK tour.

I did cancel my UK tour. It was to do with the fact that my album NB went to No 3 in the charts when it was released here, and I had to really stay out here as my record company asked me to. So, unfortunately, that's what I had to do, she explained.

She has revealed that her elder brother Daniel has been working on some new music.

Daniel is fantastic. He's in New Zealand and he's got an album coming out soon. He's been working away on it in his studio over there, she said.

I don't know when his album is coming out, I have no idea, she added.

The 28-year-old singer, famous for hits such as If You're Not the One and Gotta Get thru This, has been keeping a low profile since he was involved in a severe car accident on New Year's Day 2004.

She said, The accident has been a big interruption in his life but he is still the most amazing songwriter that I know and he's my favorite singer ever.

As for possible collaborations between the siblings on the album, she says, teasingly, You never know! I'll leave it up to the mystery.

The 26-year-old star is currently in the US promoting her album, Pocketful of Sunshine, and says that there are some things she misses about the UK.

I miss the London buses, and then I went home, and they don't have the London buses any more! I miss my mum's cooking and I miss the English accent, she said.
